Alice & the Monster
When I was 10ish, I was really into "The Creature From the Black Lagoon." I watched it so much, the tape broke. Of all the campy horror films of that time, you have to agree, it really is pretty beautiful.
Fast forward 20 years and I'm in the store with LJK, looking at costumes, and he sees the "Swamp Monster," and goes ballistic. "Is it a man? Is it a lizard man? Mom, Mom, Mom! I gotta be that for Halloween!!!"

Sadie Bird and I took our first annual girls-only trip to SF - I've been wanting to do this pretty much since the second the ultrasound tech said, "You're having a girl!" We went to see our lovely Lindsey and watch some nice music in the park. Then those boys we share a house with decided to join us. Such a sweet autumn weekend.

Hammer! Put Me In the Mix!
When MC Hammer comes to town, whatca gonna do? Get down! Hammer pants, chili cheese fries, pink wine, Euro bungy, and the best friends anyone could ever ask for. Best state fair ever.
