A River Ain't Too Much to Love
The salmon are starting to come up the river to spawn. There aren't to many up there yet, but by Thanksgiving the waters just below the Folsom Dam are going to be churning with those massive creatures. Go see it. It's pretty awesome.
The "Other" Burning Man
I went to my first, ever Guy Fawkes party. It was really cool. I kept thinking of that funny Homestar Runner game, Trogdor. Burninate!!!!
I also got to say goodbye (for now, hopefully) to Lisa D. & Mike T. who are moving to Kaikoura, New Zealand. I wonder if they'll enjoy living in one of the world's most beautiful places much.

Little Man at the Wheel
What do you do when your parents drag you over to their friends' house to eat vegan food and drink beer all afternoon? You steal their camera, of course.
Le Cafe Francais
LJK is learning French and Dani organized a frenchie party for all 70 kindergarteners. Everyone had to speak French and got an introduction to Serge Gainsbourg. It was absurdly adorable and fun. Seriously, the berets?
