capital city

before we moved i stumbled across this thing after wandering outside of one of Sacto's fine downtown asian markets. i wanted so bad to go inside, i'll bet someone in there had a really dirty joke to tell. i'll bet there was a mini fridge full of really cold beers too.

party hat

it's a picture of a "party hat". according to SAK, even after you tire out, the hat keeps partying for you. look at that thing, it's going off the chain.

get to work

o.k., we've slacked long enough. it's back to the busy world of blogging. so, in short, we moved to L.A., which should be weird, but actually it's awesome. by "we" i mean this dude too, and some other good bros from S.F. where most radsmen come from. L.A. is covered in some of my favorite things; taco trucks, hip teenagers, scary bars, hand painted type and really shitty douche bags (all from somewhere else) who talk too loud at restaurants about screenplays they have no intention of actually writing and who are hella fun to riff on. also it's hot as hell here almost all of the time. another thing to note: some people might say otherwise, but the east-side is where it's at.

Lively Life

Six months? Has it really been six months since we moved here, and nearly that long since I've posted anything? Well, I fell head over heels in love and started stalking someone. Her name is LA and she is so much fun!

Seriously, I get it now, the whole "We love LA" thing. Like anywhere else on Earth, once you figure out how to avoid the stupid stuff, it's amazing here. Come for a visit! We can hike in the mountains to our waterfall, swim in some waves, see some great shows and art, and eat the absurdly amazing, cheap food.

Here are some shots of the first time we hiked to the Eaton Canyon waterfall. An incredible 2 mile hike, five minutes away from our house. So rad!
