A Day at the Beach

Alkamaar is a super old city that's famous for cheese. The town is lousy with cheese shops, cheese cafes, people walking around in cheese clogs...you get the picture. We actually skipped the cheese and continued to concentrate on the beer.

I Am(sterdam)

A perfect day. The Jordaan is the best part of town, by far. We stopped by the houses where Dani's dad grew up, on the Bloomgracht. We stumbled across a tiny incredible church courtyard in the middle of the bustle that is owned by the Beguin Convent. We each drank our weight in Westmalle Tripel (best beer in the world). We ate the spiciest yummiest rijstafel ever. A lovely day.

King Triton Has No Need For Pants

Our one day to explore Amsterdam on our own and we spent the majority of it in bookshops, looking for inspiration. Too bad the inspiration was so pricey or too big to pack in our suitcases.
